It has been a while that we all could gather in person. ILEE is therefore very happy to invite you to this year's Research Day!

ILEE researchers present their projects and results either as an oral presentation (15 min + 5 min discussion) or as poster including a short 5 min-teaser (on stage!). This is how we can experience the large viariety of topics and disciplines innate to ILEE. Besides the presentations, we all know that the chats during the coffee breaks, the lunch etc. are important to connect and develop future collaborations. The general assemblage of ILEE members will take place at the end of the day, proposing the facts and figures of ILEE during the past two years and what is planned for the future.

We are honoured to have two invited key note speakers:

Robert Malina from UHasselt will talk about the research institute he presides, the Centre for Environmental Sciences (CMK) (which is comparable to ILEE), their experience and incentives to foster collaboration as well as his own research in environmental economy.

Farid Dahdouh-Guebas from ULB will introduce us to the world of mangroves, a topic ILEE just started to embark on with a new interdisciplinary PhD project (Geography & Biology) in collaboration with the FUCID.
