Quentin Willot (Biology) just joined URBE for a two-year position as PostDoc (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action, supervisor: Alice Dennis) for a project called ChillAnts. It focuses on the study of adaptation to extreme temperatures in Holarctic (trans-Beringian) ant species, approached from physiological, ecological, and evolutionary perspectives. Quentin will present a more technical aspect of his work (Thermal Death Time Curve Modelling).

Josephine Piette (Geography) will talk about the latest results of her PhD thesis that investigates the spatio-temporal evolution of dengue outbreaks at different scales, epidemic factors, and risk perception. A case study of Argentina.
