Maria Moreno Druet (Biology):

Soil saprotrophic fungi under heatwave temperatures: A story of acclimation, trait shifts, and competition.

Maria did her PhD thesis under the supervision of Frederik De Laender (URBE) at the CMK at the University of Hasselt (not Gent!). She is in the final phase of her thesis (private defense in very short view!) and has a lot to tell about fungi but also about the Ecotron in Hasselt, that allows for controlled climate experiments.
