In the coming week, Alice Dennis (URBE, Biology) is hosting Prof. Hervé Mube Kuietche from the University of Dschang (Cameroon), who is the co-supervisor of Paulin Diffo Fokou doing a PhD with Alice on the genetic and phenotypic characterization of black soldier fly populations in Cameroon.
 
Prof. Hervé Mube Kuietche is, among other things, working on sustainable agriculture and fisheries biology, His research addresses critical issues in food security and organic waste management, including the use of crop residues, vegetable and fruit waste, and kitchen scraps as substrates for producing protein and biofertilisers via black soldier fly larvae. Currently, Dr Mube is the project coordinator for the University of Dschang for the EU funded project HealthyDiets4Africa.
