Sarah Smet (Geography): "The agricultural land use model from the MAPPY study (Multisectoral analysis of climate and land use change impacts on pollinators, plant diversity and crops yields)" --  Sarah will present the concept of a land use change agent-based model and the decision-making process behind the model that she is developing in the working group of Nicolas Dendoncker.  She will illustrate this with first results for the Walloon case study.
Anthony Matiron (Biology): "Two Years in the Lab: What I Have Learned about the Adaptive Physiology of the Mangrove Rivulus, Kryptolebias marmoratus" -- Anthony's postdoc is coming to an end - A great opportunity to review these 2 years of research within the LEAP (Laboratory of Evolutionary and Adaptive Physiology, Frederic Silvestre). He specifically focused on how environment and genetic variation may affect phenotypic traits of the mangrove killifish, in association with hormonal mediation and epigenetic mechanisms.
