Amélie Lachapelle (Faculty of Law)

Amélie is Assistant Professor in Environmental, Sustainability and Comparative Law at UNamur and will present her research in the fields of the environment, sustainable development, and transition, at the intersection of human rights (Whistleblowing, right to privacy, freedom of expression, right to property, right to a healthy environment) and digital law (responsible digital technology—Sustainable IT).

Together with Grégoire Wieërs (Medicine), she coordinates the institutional project "JEDDT", les Journées d'Education au Développement Durable et à la Transition, a CaNDLE project supported by the Fondation Roi Baudouin.

Lots of topics that are of interest to our members, we are thus particularly happy about her affiliation to ILEE and that we will have the chance to get to know her better during this seminar!
